Conservative society

What does conservatism mean? The more traditional elements—reactionaries—oppose modernism. We are American Patriots who stand for Freedom. Definition of conservative.

A “ conservative society ” is a society that is able to able to reproduce, and hence “conserve,” the conditions of its own survival.

These include: the natural environment on which we depend. The formal political structures guaranteeing the rule of law, and the system of norms and conventions on which these formal structures depend. It is morally and ethically wrong for the government to fund embryonic stem cell research.

The conservative knows that any healthy society is influenced by two forces, which Samuel Taylor Coleridge called its Permanence and its Progression.

Because more important than any one commitment in this manifesto is the spirit in which we make them. Our job is to serve you, the people. For conservationists, the nature-society dichotomy is clear— guanacos are defined in a nature without humans, and in order to protect them they should be kept away from human activities.

On the contrary, for local people, nature and society are not worlds apart. Guanacos are neither totally wild nor totally domestic. This is done through research, conservation , rehabilitation, education and public outreach.
